"Gently grasp LICKI's bite portion with your teeth, slowly approach your cat when she is sleeping or in an otherwise pleasant mood, and ease into the soothing and mutually beneficial licking behavior of cats," "Don't be surprised if your cat licks you back."
This is basically how the apparatus called LICKI Brush works according to the product's kickstarter page.
The LICKI Brush is a soft silicone brush shaped like a large cat tongue that users can place in their mouth in order to groom their cat in the same way cats groom each other.
Portland-based PDX Pet Design, made up of husband and wife Jason and Tara O'Mara, created the LICKI Brush in hopes of allowing cat owners to participate in the intimate grooming ritual.
"We have designed LICKI brush to bring you and your cat closer," they wrote. "By using LICKI with your cat on a regular basis, you'll develop a more intimate and bonded relationship, much like a mama cat bonds with her young."
In 2013 the pair successfully Kickstarted "SHRU - The Intelligent Cat Companion", an egg-shaped cat toy designed to stimulate cats by making movement and sound.
The Kickstarter campaign was launched on May 19 and has gathered $30,935 toward its $36,500 goal.

ReplyLol. Not if you are a cat. It may be a bit cumbersome for the 'licker'
