Everybody is entitled to his pet, and has every right to walk him whenever he chooses, right?
But what passersby on the streets of Pskov in western Russia's Pskov Oblast region were not prepared for was an able bodied man walking a fully-grown leopard in a city center in the middle of the day.
The incredible footage was snapped by a stunned passer-by on the streets of Pskov.
The author of the video said: "This is what I came across.
"I filmed it as otherwise nobody would believe me."
The pair seem quite untroubled by traffic and other city noises as they calmly walk on the pavement on the other side of the road from the cameraman.
The man is not wearing any protection and is only keeping hold of his pet with a rather meagre leash.
Witnesses said the man was behaving as if he was simply taking his dog for a walk.
According to reports, onlookers felt uncomfortable seeing such a dangerous predator so close.
