One resident, in a bid to punish a serial thief, planted a package on his front porch, while he laid in wait to catch the culprit, and of course he had the camera rolling.
This packgae was painstakingly constructed with the finest technology and a lot of ingenuity to make sure the stranger is not only caught but punished.
A stranger came by the package on the front porch, he made sure there was no one in sght before he ferreted it away. On getting to his car, he opened his package which shocked the life out of him as it exploded with a bang and released a hail of glitter.
Now, the thief is not only circulating around the internet having being caught in the act, he now has a mountain of glitter to deal with.

The Very First Transgender Woman Competes In Miss Universe

The world is indeed making desirable changes, and the latest of them is that a transgender woman is now competing in the Miss Universe Pagent.

The current reigning Miss Spain, Ángela Maria Ponce Camacho made history when she entered for and was accepted into the Miss Universe Pageant.

The record set by Angele comes after the Miss Universe organization was heavily criticized in 2012 after disqualifying a transgender woman, Jenna Talackova from the Miss Canada competition because she was not "naturally born" a woman.

Miss Camacho, who now broke a new record, said the milestone she achieved was for those who have no visibility, no voice because they all deserve respect and inclusion.

The 27-year-old Ponce wrote on her Instagram on Friday, “This is for you, for those who have no visibility, no voice, because we all deserve a world of respect, inclusion, and freedom. And today I am here, proudly representing my nation, all women and human rights."

Animal Activists Strip Naked and Smear Themselves With Blood

The world today has lost a great many animal species to extinction due to the human factor. People poach these animals for their hide and skin to advance the purposes of man and insatiable thirst rich and quality materials.

In a bid to nip this ugly trend in the bud, an animal rights society decided to stage a very strange and odd protest to create awareness on animal cruelty. The protesters stripped naked, lay down in Plaça de Catalunya and covered themselves in fake blood to depict dead and dying animals.

The latest demonstration was part of a campaign to protest the use of fur and leather in consumer goods. Though this practice is illegal but some clothiers still farm animals for their hide.

The protest which happened on December 16, was staged in a busy square in Barcelona. Photographs from the demonstration show the protesters lying motionless on top of one another to resemble dead or dying animals.

The animal rights group claimed that more than 85 percent of fur sold around the world comes from farm facilities where, minks, foxes and other animals are locked in cages for their entire lives before being killed and skinned.

This Animal's Cry Sounds Like Lasers

As animals are diverse, so are their cries. The caracal kitten's cry takes the cake with it bone-chilling sound.

This sound is so high pitched that it almost grates the nerve and makes the blood run cold. 

A video surfaced recently of a baby who was hungry. She looked at her caretaker and screamed at them multiple times for their attention so they could feed her.

The handlers had to record the odd sound the poor cat was making and just had to show it online.

One ice cream parlor in Scotland took creativity to another level after it unveiled its holiday offering to include Brussels sprout flavored ice cream.

This ice cream which comes in a bright cabbage green color is made with real sprouts and mixed with peppermint oil.

The manager of the parlor, Yvette Harrison, expects sprouts to divide opinion among ice cream lovers now too as it does at dinner tables.

Leopard Mauls Meditating Buddhist Monk To Death

A Buddhist monk had recently met his death while he was praying under a tree. 

The monk who was deep in meditation was ambushed by a leopard who probably lived on the tree or around the vicinity. 

The animal attacked the man viciously and subsequently killed him on the spot.

 Happening in India, the monk, identified as 35-year-old Rahul Walke been meditating under the tree in the Tadoba forest, which was located far away from the historical Buddhist temple where he resided for a month before he was attacked on Wednesday.

Another monk from the same temple had reported that he saw the leopard attacking Walke as he approached the meditation spot to bring him food that morning, but by the time he returned with help Walke was dead.

Gajendra Narwane, deputy director of Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, said forest officials warned the monks about the presence of wild animals, including leopards, in the area and had warned them to stay away.

The reserve in the east Maharashtra district is home to about 88 tigers as well as other animals including leopards, hyenas and honey badgers.

Walke's body was recovered and state government officials said they will give his family $16,762.

Cat Freezes After Making an Odd Christmas Discovery

A pretty little cat got the shock of its life after it witnessed Christmas lights for the first time in its existence.

The poor cat which probably thought all lights were yellow and white found it hard to believe she was seeing blue, green, red, purple etc lights. And the worst part? They were all dancing.

The pet owner reported that the cat, in an odd reaction froze to a spot for more than 15 minutes as it gawked in wonder at the lights that kept changing color and formation.

The poor cat would probably think this is one of the wonders of the world. 

People who shared their comments were quite certain that the cat would climb the tree when she snaps out of her trance, and maybe rip it down.

Friends can indeed be found in the strangest of places. It is a fact that a lot of people have made friends in very strange circumstances.

A man recently shared a photo of how he helped a guy catch his cheating girlfriend at a baseball game.

He had gone to see a game, and there was this couple sitting in front of him. He happened to observe that the lady was chatting with another guy called ‘Jason’, telling him how much she missed him.

The mystery guy, maybe he was rankled at the guts of the girl, or maybe he was looking out for a fellow guy, but what he did next was in fact weird.

He took a napkin and wrote a short note to the lady’s boyfriend telling her that his girl was texting another guy called Jason. He further told him to look at her phone when they get home.

Female Dubai Police Officers Pull Plane Out Of Hanger

People do very odd things for the chance to get into the Guinness book of records. A group of police officers in Dubai recently came up with an idea that could drag them happily into the famed Gunnies book.

The group numbering 77 females decided to beat the record that was set by an all-male team the previous year by pulling a 372,142-pound Boeing 777-300ER a distance of over 300 feet.

The women, participating in the annual Dubai Fitness Challenge, worked together to pull the plane the Guinness-required 328 feet and earned the official world record for heaviest aircraft pulled over 328 feet by a team.

A Guinness World Records adjudicator was on hand to witness the event and presented a certificate to Maj.-Gen. Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri, commander-in-chief of Dubai Police.

Meet Lil’ Bill, World's Smallest Cow

The internet is going crazy over the birth of a very tiny but adorable cow. this cow which has been named Lil’ Bill is said to be the world's smallest cow ever to be born.

Born in Mississippi, in the United States, Lil Bill weighs a teeny-weeny 4.5kg, which is the same as a domestic cat, and nearly a tenth of other cows his age.

The calf was taken to The Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, in the US, to be checked over after his owners worried he might be ill.

The cow was certified healthy, his only problem was that he was much smaller than all his mates in the farm.

The owners posted a photo of Lil' Bill on their Facebook page with the caption: "Occasionally, we get a case that has us scratching our heads a bit. Lil' Bill is one of those cases! He was born weighing a little over one-tenth of what newborn calves typically weigh."

Social media took it up and kept tabs on the little chap asking about his welfare and asking to create a separate social media page for him.

Brothers Bury Mum In Back Garden

A new family had moved into the neighborhood and were getting to know their neighbors, but nothing prepared them for the shocking and bizarre discovery they were about to make.

The family had gotten an apartment beside two middle-aged brothers who previously used to live with their mum until her death.

The lady reported that after the funeral, the brothers dug a hole in their back garden and buried the remains of their mum.

She wrote: "Two middle-aged brothers live next door to us with their elderly mum, in a house which could well appear in a documentary.

"The mum's funeral was this week and the grave is in their garden.

The woman is currently freaking out because she believes that what her neighbor did was wrong on all fronts, and it may not even be legal.

Chocolate Paved Road: Factory Accident Coats Street With Chocolate

On December 10, residents of Westonnen in Germany woke up to their streets paved in chocolate, though it’s not Christmas yet.

In what can be described as a delicious accident that occurred at a chocolate factory, a chocolate storage tank overflowed causing the gooey liquid to flow into the streets.  

The Fire Brigade in the area said a storage tank at the DreiMeister chocolate factory spilled about one ton of chocolate Monday and the liquid streamed through the gates outside the factory and into a road, presenting an odd sight to the locals.

In the morning hours, they found that the liquid has solidified into a 33-square-foot "choco-pancake" that firefighter pried up from the ground using shovels and muscle power.

The accident did not cause a major setback for the chocolate company, and the company spokesperson said that they would be able to recover from the loss before Christmas. 

Man Wants To Break Up With Girlfriend for Baking All His Beans

The world is an odd but funny place, and it could yet be funnier as people with their actions and inactions tend to kick up drama.

A certain aggrieved man has taken to social media to ask for advice concerning an issue that had great impact on him.

According to the 26 year-old man, he came home one day only to find out that his girlfriend has baked all his beans. "In my cupboard I store several bag of bean, to make soft and to bake on some days, to have a bit of baked bean on my dinner. Or, heck, a lunch too some days."

When he asked his girlfriend why she took such an action, she said she did it so she could save him some time. He intended to freeze the beans so that he could unfreeze it when he wanted to eat them.

The man who was greatly saddened by this action said,

"But, if a bean is froze and unfrozed, the very good and very nice flavor of bean is gone far. A bean is best if baked fresh as a Sunday Pie. Not to be froze and unfroze!" 

The man had initially admitted that he loved his girlfriend and wanted to marry her, but the beans incident is making him change his mind. In fact, he is considering breaking up with her.

"I am considering to end our relations and not be the boyfriend and girlfriend anymore."

A certain couple went to see this iconic painting just like the others, but he was wheeling his wife who was on a wheelchair.

In a very considerate move, as they were passing, the man knelt down while pushing his wife on the chair so that they would not disrupt the view of other people who were clustered around the painting.

The action of the man was said to be strange by some who thought he had every right to walk across the painting, while others saw it as quite considerate.

Airplane Part Falls Out During Flight and Smashes Man’s Rear Windshield

In a bizarre occurrence, a man has claimed that a part fell from an airplane in flight and smashed his rear windshield.

According to a writer on Reddit, this oddly-strange accident was said to have happened near Dulles airport.

The man reported that when the object hit his rear windshield, he’ freaked out’ because he thought that someone was shooting at him.

He applied the brakes, parked and got out from the car in fear. A man that was driving a car that was behind him was the one who told him that he saw something fall out of the sky and hit his car.

Some people are actually advising that he file a suit, but we are not sure if the man took the advice.

Man Drives a Car Covered in Snow To Work

It is a fact that some people are more determined than others, and they can go the extra mile to achieve certain goals.

This is the case of a man in Virginia who wouldn’t let the snow stop him from getting to work in the morning.

Having woken up to his car covered in 13 inches of snow, he just cleared out the driver’s side of the windscreen, hopped into his car and drove to work.

It is indeed quite odd that he was not pulled over by the authorities. 

Cyclist Cheats Death, Narrowly Escapes Speeding Train

In a clear case of a bizarre case of near death experience, a cyclist was caught on tape as he very nearly escaped being crushed by a train on high speed.

The event which happened in Netherlands had rail official posting the footage which they termed a miracle.

The cyclist was shown as a waited for a train to cross, but unknown to him, a train was coming from the other direction. When he tough it was safe, he cycled into the tracks and put himself directly on the path of a train going in the opposite direction.

The cyclist, who noticed the train oddly-late, picked up speed and was just able to cross by a hairs-breath before the train zoomed past. 

Bizarre Baby Name Saga…Mum Slams Family and Friends

The birth of a baby is usually a beautiful thing, and a lot of families go to lengths to prepare for it. One of the very important preparations is picking out a name for the baby.

It is a fact that babies have been named some odd and unusual names this decade, but a certain mum has come under fire in social media for the name she picked out for her unborn son.

But the mother, who is not to be outdone, blasted her critics for daring to criticize the name she picked out for her baby. She says no one has any right to condemn the name she picked out for her son.

The unnamed mum-to-be revealed all in a furious Facebook post, which has since been shared on Reddit.

Posting on an event page for her upcoming baby shower, the woman begins by announcing that she's cancelling the shindig and rearranging a "smaller, more inclusive party" for her real friends.

She wrote: "It brings me pain to have to tell you this, but I am cancelling the event. I will text you soon if you're invited to my smaller, more inclusive party. At least here no one will judge me.

"The name conveys wealth. It conveys success."

She goes on to declare that her baby's name will be a "revolution" and is so much better than a boring name like "Brian".

"Squire Sebastian Senator will live a powerful, wholesome life. His confidence will not diminish simply because his name is out of the ordinary. Instead, he will be extraordinary."

"F*** you all. Fake a** family," she added. "You won't get to be a part of my baby's life and it's all because you had to judge him."

So far more than 3,000 people have commented on the post on Reddit.

Many agreed with her family members and branded the name choice "crazy".

One wrote: "Yeah. I was thinking, 'okay, Senator’s a pretty boss last name, and Squire is quirky without being disruptive. He can always fall back on Sebastian or a variant of it if he wants something a little more typical.' Nope. Lady’s just bats***. I do think the countries that have veto power over what goes on a birth certificate have the right idea sometimes."

Another commented: "I like unique names, but don't just make some crazy s*** up."

A third added: "Poor boy will be picked on his whole life."

Elvis Presley Stationed in Traffic

In a move to further bring to light this great icon, the German town where Elvis Presley was stationed while serving in the Army has immortalized the King by putting his likeness on pedestrian traffic signals. Talk about odd.

The three crossing signals, installed in Elvis Presley Square in Fiedberg, feature an image of Elvis standing at a microphone for the red "Don't Walk" signal and the silhouette of the performer doing his signature dance moves for the green "Walk" signal.

Marion Gotz, a local politician, said the signals received the approval of the local police department and cost the city about $1,027.

Elvis was stationed in Friedberg for a time when he served in the U.S. Army from 1958 until 1960.

Horses Pull Out a Semi-Truck Stuck in Ice

In an unusual act of brawn, a pair of horses has been used to pull a semi-truck that was stuck in ice.

A Minnesota couple were left confused after their truck got stuck on an icy driveway due to the snow. Having no other ideas on what to do, the decided to hitch up their Belgian draft horses and pull out the truck.

A video filmed this week in southern Minnesota shows the two burly horses hauling Craig Helgeson's semi-truck up the steep and icy driveway belonging to Lizzie and Jacob Hershberger.

The horses were successfully able to get the truck to the top of the hill.

Lizzie Hershberger, who filmed the vehicle, said her husband's horses are used to hauling heavy loads, but the semi was the first truck they had pulled up hill.

More Seals Get Eels Stuck to their Noses

A photo was released on Monday of a poor Hawaiian monk seal, squinting despairingly, with a probably-also-distressed eel stuck up its nose.

This phenomenon, eels getting stuck in seals' noses, is rare; the team has observed only three or four cases of eel-nose in the past four decades, said Charles Littnan, a monk seal conservation biologist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries. But weirdly, the incidence has been increasing in the past couple of years. "In almost 40 years of monitoring, we have actually never observed this until a few years ago," Littnan said.

As to how the eel gets stuck, Littnan has several ideas. The monk seals feed on or near the bottom of the ocean, because they're "very efficient" and "don't like to chase things in the water," he said. So, they go for the food, like eels, whose strategy is to hide.

Monk seals nose around in coral reefs, root around in the sand to grab hiding octopuses and other creatures. While the unfortunate, recently photographed seal was doing this, an eel could have, in a case of self-defense, "rammed itself into the nostril and maybe got stuck," Littnan said. Since this phenomenon has been observed only in juvenile seals, Littnan said it could also just be that the seals are inexperienced at hunting.

Hawaiian monk seals are among the most endangered seals on the planet, with only about 1,400 of them living in Hawaii. But recent years have shown "encouraging developments," according to NOAA Fisheries.

Watch Out For Skin Eating Bugs This Winter

A warning has been given out that a certain bug that feeds on the skin could invade home this winter. These bugs are said to be prevalent in damp areas. 

Silverfish are ancient bugs which survive by eating pretty much everything, but they particularly like to tuck into dead skin cells and hair.

They thrive in moist and damp conditions, which means homes across the UK face the risk of an invasion this winter as it gets wetter outside and we crank the heating up.

The little bugs, which can jump up to two feet and live for eight years, have also been known to eat through wallpaper, books, curtains and cereal boxes.

Horse Escapes on Its Way to Death

In a daring attempt to fight for survival, a horse has escaped into the Florida highway on its way to be euthanized.

The Alachua County police said they responded to calls and social media tips of a horse found running loose on Interstate 75 last Friday.

Witnesses said the horse had escaped from a trailer on the highway and the driver left after being informed of the equine's escape. Investigators said they determined the 12-year-old horse was being taken to be euthanized because its owners no longer wanted it.

A sheriff's office spokesman said authorities are seeking animal abandonment charges against the driver of the vehicle.

The horse, now named Highway, is being treated at the Springhill Equine Veterinary Clinic in Ocala for injuries sustained during the daring escape. The clinic said a crowdfunding goal for the horse's car quickly exceeded its goal.
